A student of the legendary Leung Jan, Chan Wah Shun, or “Money Changer Wah” (as he is known due to his job as a currency exchanger) was also known by his triumphs in the arena of the challenge matches. Allegedly a man of substantial stature, Chan Wah Shun’s Ving Tsun skills were greatly complemented by his strength and size. Shortly before his death, he would receive a young pupil by the name of Yip Man.
